Peppo
Peppo is a 5–6 year-old mid-sized male Whippet mix who came to SAGA three years ago with tick fever and was treated for heartworm. Peppo fully recovered from those ailments, and now shows typical Whippet characteristics such as intelligence, sensitivity and strong emotional bonds with humans and their children. And while Peppo gets along with kids and other dogs, Peppo does not like cats.
Peppo enjoys his daily SAGA walks. However, we believe Peppo may have had an altercation with a bicycle and human stranger, when he was young. When adopting Peppo, SAGA staff recommend using a secure leash and focusing on training and appropriate socialization for this lovely dog. SAGA staff can offer more specifics, as they, and volunteer dog-walkers, know Peppo well. The ideal “Peppo” home will have a tall, sturdy fence; and lots of love!

Tuxedo & Little Heart
Tuxedo and Little Heart (aka Corazoncito) are 3-year-old brother kitties who arrived at SAGA together as tiny kittens. While they can be adopted individually, we are hoping Tuxedo and Little Heart are adopted together as a bonded pair, as they have been inseparable all their lives. Even in a roomful of cats at SAGA, these two boys are always side by side, and still play with each other like young kittens.
Tuxedo and Little Heart are very friendly with humans. Since they have had no interaction with dogs, the SAGA team suggests they live in a dog-free home, or with a young puppy that they could warm up too.
These brothers are healthy and have beautiful fur coats with the classic “tuxedo” cat colors, black & white. Tuxies are known to be friendly, easy-going, playful, talkative, loyal, and dog-like.
